Hi, I am going to buy a USB Memory Stick but would like to know if a 3.0 USB Stick would work on my Toshiba Satellite L300 or do I have to buy a 2.0 stick.

If i buy the 3.0, can I change some settings for it to work?

You can buy either one. A usb3 pendrive will work at usb2 speeds when in a usb2 port just a usb2 pendrive will still work in a usb3 port.
