Hi this is my first post.

I got my first GeForce GTX 750 Ti.
But, don't know where to put.

I put it in MOBO Asrock z87 Extreme 3's written as PCIE3 as in the picture.

However, GPU-Z says it is running at x8.

Is this the correct method?

PCIE3 in that case refers to the fact that it's the third PCIe slot on the board.

You want it in the one closest to the CPU, which is marked PCIE2. However, running it at x8 won't make a measurable impact on performance, as PCIe lanes aren't a bottle neck for current cards.
