Hey everyone,

I'm at a complete loss at the moment. I've been at it for hours, but for the life of me I cannot get SLI to show up in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Here's my specs:

Maximus VI Formula motherboard (latest bios)
2x GTX780TI-DC2OC-3GD5 (latest bios) connected with ROG cable that came with the motherboard
Geforce drivers version 337.50

Device manager detects both cards. Nvidia control panel shows both cards. However, the SLI options is non-existent. GPU-Z shows SLI as "Disabled".

What I've tried:

Completely uninstalling the Nvidia drivers both normally, and in safe mode."
Re-installing drivers, performing a 'clean' installation
Re-formatted my entire computer - completely fresh version of Windows 8
Re-seating the cards and the SLI bridge

I have no idea what else to do. Any and all help is appreciated.

Have you tried the second pair of SLI connectors? You can use either pair. One of the connectors may be faulty.

Hi Sharpnd152
Nvidia control panel is recognizing both cards but does not see them connected , i would try another sli bridge or try the rog bridge up the other way with the writing downwards

Sorry guys, neither of those suggestions worked. I do not have another SLI bridge to try, unfortunately. However, after researching this for hours it seems to be different causes, mostly software side.

Have you tried 'Maximize 3d performance', that is a radial button to enable SLI.

Looks like this;

If you can see my screenshot, I don't even have half of those options.

Also, have you tried drivers other than the 337.50 beta driver? Try with the latest WHQL driver (335.23), that may fix the problem.

Doing that right now. Will report back in a few minutes.

@bradsctt

Did not change anything. I don't understand what the problem could be...

Don't bump threads and can you try a different OS?

Found the problem. I had a USB 3.0 PCIE adapter in the very last slot, which I suppose disables SLI support for some reason. As soon as I removed it, Nvidia recognized the two cards being connected.
