Hello guys,
My CPU is 3770k with Maximus V Formula. I bought "Corsair H100i" but its giving 50+ C at idle, and 100+ C at 100% load @ stock speed. ambient temp. is 35c. is that normal?

Someone just said its my cpu problem. because i'm having 50+ C with stock cpu cooler as well as h100i @ stock speed!! Please Help!! What is the problem why is this happening?

Note:My RAM is corsair running @ 1600MHz with XMP profile
When i run @ 1333Mhz i got some change in idle(pic) but No Change in Load Temp.
I'm not OC yet, but like to OC @ 4.6GHz

Tried things: Changing H100i, tried BIOS default Setting(ver. 1903), Installing Fresh Windows 8.1, Tried different Thermal Paste, tried changing airflow direction...!!

Used Software: RealTemp, CoreTemp, HWMonitor, Prime95 For Test...

Hare are some screenshots(ram without xmp @ 1333mhz):

Before anyone pronounces that your chip is a dud—which might be the case—it should be said that an ambient temp of 35c is pretty darn high. Have you tried doing anything about that?

Can you confirm that you get similar temperatures at idle, at stock speeds, with the stock CPU fan?

Its summer bro, but most of time ambient is near 30 C. That's why i choose h100i(liquid cooler). other people who are using same processor with air cooler getting around 60-70 @ stock speed and 80+ @ OC. so do i need to worry?

Are you sure you're installing the cooler correctly? The above comment makes me think that you've not installed it correctly. That said I'm almost positive it isn't your CPU. It could be that your H100i pump or something has gone AWOL on you. I would be more apt to suspect the cooler as the culprit rather than the CPU. The 3770K's still young.

My friend had an issue when he didn't install his Noctua CPU cooler tight enough and his temperatures skyrocketed upwards above 61 degrees on his FX-8350.

i myself and also 2 more people(pros) tried about 12 times to mount, still no change. yesterday i tried to tight the loose(default for all h100i) backplate and mounted again while my pc was on, so that i can see the changes. after trying more than 3 hrs the best result i got 90-95c on load @stock 3.9ghz.

Right now while i'm commenting, idle is about "40-46-45-38(4 cores)"

Hare are some pictures of mounting:

If this happens, how can i reduce temp or oc..!! feeling so hopeless guys...!!

Update: Hey guys, yesterday i've got "CM E2 Thermal Compound" and my temps improved. Now i'm Overclocked at 4.6Ghz getting about 90c(hottest core) on load. I leave my CPU voltage and PLL "Auto". On load vCore is around 1.32. Is it right? Is there anything i can do to reduce my temps more...?
Running "AIDA64- stress test" for 1/2 hours and got this result... Please help me, if any of my is not right or cause problems!!
