What I am wondering is which monitoring system is better? The Asus Thermal Radar with its access to the 12 thermal temp sensors or the Corsair Link software. I have read about Link having conflicts with other health monitors. I am leaning towards the Asus setup because it technically has more control options with access to all fans and the 12 sensors. But I am wondering if anyone has feedback regarding either software package?

thx in advance

Probably the Asus board, though if you have no issues with the Corsair Link it probably is just fine. All it does is ramp the CPU fans based on the temperature and setting you choose.

Not sure about your motherboard, but my Asus board can adjust all the CPU and Case fans plugged into it with a single click in Thermal Radar. They spin up and down while the software monitors the temperature and settles on what it thinks is the optimal settings. Seemed to work just as good as what I chose.

I do know people who like Corsair Link, but in my experience it is buggy as hell and riven with problems, and even when it's working properly the UI is clunky and ugly. I recommend controlling as much as possible through your mobo, as it is a good one.
