I was looking for graphic cards for my brother who is not a hardcore gamer. So I found this deal but it totally looks fake. However the seller's rating is really great. The problem is in the pictures, it's shown that it's made my nVidia but nVidia never builds graphic cards. Also, the title is "GT650" whereas it should be "GTX 650". Some of the description doesn't even match with nVidia's official website page. On the other hand, the seller has no idea about this and keeps writing random stuff + there's more than 35 of those sold. So, is it fake or legit?

Could you link this, The Nvidia naming is fine, the GT 650 sounds a little suspicious but I have seen worse that was legit;

I saw a B85 ASRock Motherboard for under $50 on Amazon, I opened the link and with the same price was a Z87 Killer (Much Much better), the specs showed all the ASRock Killer features but the price was of a B85 board, it actually was a Z87 killer, but it was very very weird.

There are the stock Nvidia branded cards, just like that one.

That card is real, there is a GT650 2GB DDR3, though it's a terrible card. DDR3 sucks, look into a card that has G/DDR5 memory.

Hi helixx
If you have your doubts ask the seller some questions , if still unsure don't buy it , better off getting from a pc parts outlet rather than ebay
someone like newegg or amazon or a local pc parts store .

well, either way, Don't get it. Both those cards are nothing good.

I'd look into a R7 260X to R7 265 or Nvidia equivalent.

The problem is not only that. My brother has a 400W PSU, which really cuts close to the R7 260X. Plus the eBay listing for GTX 650 or whatever had a really good price.

It had a really good price cause its a really crap card, the 630. If the 650 is only a GT, thats a big difference from a GTX 650. If any of them have DDR3 stay away from it period.

Even if it IS ddr3,it would perform WAY better than anything else you could buy for that money.
However. I think I would give it a miss. Better safe than messing about and being conned.

Surprisingly Toms hardware did a review with the R7 260X on cheap 250W PSU's, they worked. I would say even a cheap 400W PSU is easily enough for a R7 260X and R7 265, those recommended PSU wattages are always overkill.

But then I can't get it for a good price, can I? :/

Also something fishy about the singling out of the U.K. , perhaps the card is a re bios'ed fake.

You can, just save up money. Nvidia cards don't give as uch performance per dollar as AMD cards do. Take a look at the difference between the R9 290X and the GTX 780ti, it's a giant price gap but the performance is almost identical.

you can get it for a good price, just need to save up a little more, but it is worth it over those cheap cards, the performance gap is very big.

It looks like an amazing rare card because its made by nvidia itself. The two big drawbacks being that its ddr3 and who will provide warranty service? NVIDIA? I doubt it because nvidia has board partner like asus, msi etc which gives good warranty service but nvidia doesn't seem to deal in warranty of even its own cards.

I highly doubt it's made by nVidia...

some rarely are, but this is highly unusual. I have only seen one in my lifetime.

There are such things as reference cards like the Titan Black, 780, 770. They all come with the glowing GeForce logo on their sides and all have one fan. they all have the same color cooler, silver(except for the Titan Black)
