Guys, I got a System with i3-2100, 500Gb HDD, Gigabyte H61M D2 B3, and 2 x 2GB RAM( Kingston DDR3) with Windows 8.1.
My Problem is that Windows 8.1 Worked fine with 4GB Ram until one day when I figured out that my System was detecting only 2GB RAM... I checked and found out that one of the two RAMs was not having two pins, it got stuck inside the RAM slot. Now my System is running with only 2GB.. Is there any way to Repair and use the broken RAM...plzzzzz hlp..is there any way too use atleast 1 Gb of it??????? My OS is running too slow... Photos are attached below

Solution
No, it can not be repaired. The pins are mounted on the PCB.
To fix that you much replace the whole PCB. That cost more then the RAM.
RAM is cheap especially 2GB sticks.
You can not just use 1GB of the RAM even if you could fix it.
The Ram stick is a 2GB not 1GB.
You can not just turn off the RAM chips to make it 1GB.
When you install more RAM make sure there are not pieces in the Dimm slot.
That could possibly cause a short or other problems.
Buy another stick of RAM.
Make sure it is compatible with your MOB and has the same bus speeds as your old RAM. (MHz)
