I am looking to get in to pc gaming at the minute I am going to buy the msi gs70 stealth pro gtx70m laptop. However then I started to look at desktops for a back up.

I need some help deciding on a desktop for gaming I have a budget of just over 1000. I don't know much about desktops compared to laptops so I need some help. I will play games such as titanfall, farcry, Minecraft, Gary's mod and GTA. Any links to good gaming desktops or laptops if you think there is a better alternative to the gs70 which is abit expensive.
