Can the monitor have troubles with the graphic card?

Hello, I was wondering about something and sorry if it's a silly question but, I got a HP w2207 and the resolution is 1680x1050 and my new graphic card it's supose to be a gtx 760.
Can the monitor and the graphic card have some problems while I'm gaming and would I get less fps with a resolution like that?

Everything should be perfectly fine. And as for the fps question, the higher the resolution, the harder the game is to run, but you should be fine.

u can still play with a lower resolution with better performance but the draw back is that the video will be up scaled for full screen and it reduces quality....
