Right now in my pc i have 2x g-skill 4gb ripjaws x ddr3 2133 and I want upgrade to a little more memory but my cpu cooler Thermaltake frio 101.6 CFM that's over my i7 3770k cpu. Covers one or my ram slots and I can tell that another g skill ripjaw could not fit under it
What I need to know is can I move the 2 4gb ram to one side and add an 8gb of same brand and speed to the the other side
Or am I better off changing my cpu cooler and just getting 2 more 4gb of same brand and speed? I'm not looking to spend allot of money either though.
I'm not sure what I can do or should do here are my complete pc specs if it helps
Microsoft Windows 7 (64)
Proc-Intel core i7-3770k 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard- Biostar TZ77A ATX LGA1155
Memory- G.Skill ripjaws x 8gb (2x 4gb) DDR3-2133
Hard drive- Crucial M4 256 GB 2.5 SSD
GPU- EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2GB
Power S- Corsair 650
DVD asus drw-24b1st//dvd/cd
Case- NZXT Phantom (White) ATX Full Tower]
Cooler- Thermaltake frio 101.6 CFM
