So for my high school graduation, I want to build a new, middle-upper range (if you could call it that) gaming PC. I know for sure that I want to overclock, so an unlocked processor is a must. I also have a GTX 660 SC by EVGA that I have in my current budget build that I might use. I'll be giving that build to my dad for a business workstation after this one is done. I plan to begin to play more graphic intensive games in the near future with this, so I'm going to need a new GPU (AMD or GeForce, I have no idea). I want to keep this build without the GPU under 900-1000 USD.

Currently, in a configuration I have right now picked out, the components are as follows:

CPU - Intel Core i5 4670K (239.99 USD @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler - Corsair Hydro H60 (79.99 USD @ Newegg)
Motherboard - ASRock Z87 Extreme3 ATX (104.99 USD @ Newegg)
RAM - G. Skill Sniper 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz (74.99 USD @ Newegg)
SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 120GB (82.99 USD @ Newegg)
HDD - WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM (59.99 USD @ Newegg)
PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80Plus GOLD (84.99 USD @ Newegg)
GPU - EVGA Geforce GTX 660 SC 2GB (I own this one)
Case - Fractal Design Define R4 Blackout with Window Silent ATX (99.99 USD @ Newegg)
Monitor - Acer 21.5" 1080p (I own this as well)

Total Cost - (as of 5/21/14) 827.92 USD

Is this build fine? In the future, I want to buy a new GPU, preferrably a high end 256-bit (like the 770), or a 384-bit (like the R9 280X), in the near future. If there is anything I can do to improve the build or save money, feel free to let me know, and give constructive criticism!

Thanks!

My personal recommendation. You don't need to water cool it, the 212 Evo will be fine. If you want to push it beyond lets say, 4.3 ghz, then I'd recommend getting the Noctua. I also recommend the z97 board vs a z87 because of the newer chispets that'll be here in the near future. When you have the money, I'd put in an Evga 770.
