In the future i would like a dual monitor setup but the graphics card i have in mind does not have 2 hdmi ports. I was thinking that having one monitor connected directly to the graphics cards HDMI port and the second monitor via display port to hdmi. Would this work and are display ports standard on all graphics cards?

The graphics card(s) i have in mind is the Nvidia Geforce GTX 750/750 TI. And yes that is the cable i am refering to. Looking at images of the 2 cards i havent seen a display port. failing this method and standard dvi cable providing the same resolution will work so long as an external audio source is used? (External speakers or headset)
