hi.... my laptop is of vaio..wiyh winows 8..my most of the apps are disappeared from the start screen.accept internet explorer,desktop and windows store...unless windows store is not opening properly..even the pc settings too..
what should i do.. don't know??plz help.....:(

No, don't reset your PC just yet. It sounds like you are logged in under the local admin account. In Win 8 if you are logged in as the local "administrator" account, MS does not allow this account to access certain features, one of which is the MS Store or add apps to the Metro UI.

Log in as a different user account and see how it works. Unfortunately there is a lot of unknown information missing from your problem description. Please be more descriptive; we cannot read your mind...

When did it start?
What were you doing right before it started acting up?
Have you logged out and back in?
Have you restarted you PC?
