you can go to amd and see there requirements for there card or the brand you wish to buy [sapphire,asus,powercolor whoever] to see if theres differ over amd reference.

Most PSUs will be "compatible" as far as cables are concerned. However, for a proper recommendation, you should list system specs. For all I know you could be running 30 hard drives off it
