Is 280x good graphics card ? Will it be able to support upcoming games for 2 or 3 years on high/ultra. What is thing about powercolor its 70 bucks cheaper than other models in my conutry, what model would you recomend me to go with ? I am not playing games on 1080p,i am more about fps and gameplay. I currently have battlefield bc2,battlefield 3 and 4. I am thinking about buying Watch Dogs.

I have a Sapphire r9 280x Dual-X OC myself, extremely good card, the only game it has (minor) issues with is Watchdogs. After reading how Nvidia had apparently worked with ubisoft to make the game worse on AMD cards, I was surprised that I managed to run mine with Ultra Textures, MSAA 8x Anti Aliasing, and everything else ultra except reflections and shadows (Ambient occlusion on MHBAO). So yeah, very minor issues lol.

I think that your card will be great for the next 1-1.5 years, but once 4K gaming becomes mainstream I'm not sure it will handle particularly well. Hope this helps!

the next driver (possible 14.7 from 14.6) Watchdogs will run much better off AMD GPU's, though not on par with Nvidia drivers, the current AMD driver does not play it as well as it could.

With 4k, all current GPU's struggle in Ultra gaming, even some of the best of crossfire/SLI setups.

Thanks unknownofprob, I fared pretty well with my 280x but i did see a lot of room for improvement, I actually turned motion blur off as it left weird marks on the screen, almost like still pixels, I've got an image somewhere of it that i should be able to upload if you want to see it :) Glad to see AMD are fixing the issues though :)
