Hey guys, so i have just finished putting together my first build. When i went to power it, the fans, cpu liquid cooler, and sata devices all powered up however i got no display signal to my monitor. The case and cpu fans spun very fast for a couple of seconds and then started spinning much slower.

I do no have a motherboard speaker so i could not hear the beeps if there were any.

I have already checked all the solutions in the sticky troubleshooting thread and none worked. Could my mobo/cpu/ram be dead or is it something else? Thanks in advance=)

the motherboard connector appears to not be in all of the way, but i have applied as much force as i could dare and it wont go completely in. Should i apply more force?

What do mean by not all the way in? If the clip is in place it is fine, I doubt the PC would boot at all without it being in.

It is in place, seems to be a slight gap between the connector and the board. Could i just have a faulty motherboard?

When this happened to me, it would turn on fine, except no signal on the monitor. However, at random times, the signal would work. Ever since I sorted out the connector it's been perfectly fine.

OP did you take it out then put it back in? Make sure all the pins line up properly.

No matter how much force I put it refused to go in more, however i do have it routed in a way where the 24pin cable is bent at a 90 degree angle. Could that be causing the problem? Also, if the mb connector wasn't in properly, wouldn't that not allow the cpu and its fan to turn on?
