If they are, there's really not much of a difference. The Micro ATX one will not be as good for overclocking since it's smaller so it might have some heat issues, but the difference is insignificant.

The Gigabyte Z87mx UD3 would be a bit better and it has a bit more features (SLI, for example), but if you're not going to SLI or overclock much you might as well go with the Asus one; You'll never notice the difference.
