I'm wondering if the "EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti SSC 2GB" or "EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB" will work on a Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP mobo? In addition I want to upgrade to 8GB of RAM -> 2 x "4GB kits (2GBx2) DDR2 PC2-6400 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.8V 256Meg x 64" from Crucial. Is it worth the investment?

My current configuration includes QX6700 processor, 4 GB of memory and a MSI R4870.
Today I'm running win 8.1, which works well with a SSD.
Crucial is also selling another type of memory "4GB kit (2GBx2) DDR2 PC2-6400 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.8V 256Meg x 64" which is a little more expensive. What is the difference?

depends what you are doing. the video card can move to a new machine in the future, but the ram cannot.
