Hi there
I want to start out by apologizing for my ignorance on some of this stuff because I'm new to the PC building world and also hoping I'm debunking

my problem is that I built this PC back in feb and it's been running flawlessly until last night when I was on it and it suddenly turned off revealing a red CPU led indicator

my system specs are:
amd fx 8350 processor
radeon r9 290 GPU
a sabertooth 990fx 2.0 mobo
budget DDR3 1333 8gb (2x4gb sticks) by manufacturer super talent
a "solid gear" ATX 600w power supply
antec kuhler 620 liquid cooling (I know it's probably not up to par with my system but I wasn't OCing and my load/idle temps were decent)
and I think that covers it

anyway now I tried swapping out my fx 8350 with my old fx 8120 and the led still showed and I did the same with my GPU by switching it out to my old radeon hd 6850 and the LED still showed
then I come to find out my DRAM memtest LED was showing red too which made me think it was my ram

I even tried the whole removing/reinstalling the mobo battery and only having 1 RAM stick as well as the jumper solution
I just don't know what else to try so I just ordered better quality RAM in hopes it may solve my problem

any other suggestions? any help is appreciated and thank you

yeah I just checked and unfortunately that's not it (unless I'm looking a the wrong plug this one is near the CPU and the layout says ATX power connector (8-PIN EATX12V)) :-(

hahah yeah I found that out too which is why I put the brand name in quotations. I ordered another 650w along with the RAM so hopefully that'll solve it
if not then I'm not sure
thank you guys for your input!! :-)
