7850 Low Fps in Minecraft

I have upgraded my gpu from a gt530 to a 7850. And in Minecraft I'm getting half the fps i got with the 530. Every other game improved. Could it be the drivers? I have catalyst 14-4. Is there a problem with minecraft on this update?
Rest of specs:
fx6300
8g ram
Help would be appreciated,thanks!

I believe I deleted it completely. I went to device manager and uninstalled the gt530 and it asked if i wanted to delete all the drivers and i hit yes. And m4ntl3 i shouldn't have lower fps I was using same cpu with both gpus.
