I have bought one each of the above PSUs for my new build. Here is my system:

Case: Corsair 650D
PSU: Antec HCG-850M or Corsair RM850
Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Hero
CPU: Intel i7-4770K
CPU fan: Cooler Master V8 GTS
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB), 2400Mhz
Graphics: Asus GTX 780 dcii OC
Monitor: Asus VG248QE (2560x1080, 144Hz)
Operation: Windows 7 Pro on SSD Samsung 840 EVO 500GB
Storage: 1 TB and 2TB Western Digital Black HHD, 7200RPM
Blu Ray: Pioneer BDR-209EBK
DVD: Samsung SH-224BB OEM

I have heard the Antec is quite loud, while the Corsair can be a little hot. Does anyone have either and can give me some feedback?

Thank you in advance.

The Corsair RM850M has a 80+ Gold certification and is also of high quality. It gets a little hot because when your PC is in idle , the fans don't move. So I recommend it instead
