I'm thinking of buying this card : Club 3D Radeon R7 265 925MHZ
and was wondering if my Antec Earthwatts 430w would suffice and run it. I check around and couldn't make out an answer

I checked the PSU and it says max amp @ 12V1+ rail is 17Amps and 12V2+ is 16A. But when checking the forums, people would say it's the COMBINED amp that matters, so does that mean that I combine the two rails ? I'm really confused

I read this reply from someone about this card

>For a system using a single Radeon R7 265 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 26 Amps or greater and have at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

Does mine have a 6-pin PCI Express power connector? I dont see anything labeled like that.

Here are my current specs:
Intel Core i5-750
XFX Radeon HD 5770
2x 1TB Seagate HDD
Corsair XMS 4GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 663MHz
1 LG DVD RAM
Gigabyte Mobo P55A-UD3

Any ideas ?

According to the W1zzard, at the very maximum, an R7 265 consumes 132W. Divide by 12V and that's 11A. It's going to be alright.
