what specs do you have? 300w PSU seems kind of low especially if its a bad PSU. On the other hand the GTX 650 will perform better than your integrated graphics chip.

Get a 750 instead for the same price, and you will be fine.

The gtx650 that comes from zotac doesn't require an auxillary power connector but the 300 is is not sufficient. Just wait u said that u are using a E7500 which means that ur pc wattage hovers around less than 200W(approx.) and the zotac 650 consumes 75W since it doesn't require an auxillary power connector and draws all the power from the PCI-E x16 lane. I think u would be fine.
HD7750? yes, ithink it will work, it is same as the gtx650 and is power efficient but the hd7770 won't do as it requires an auxillary Power connector.
These will work only if u are having a good branded psu. Tell me what psu do u have?

Yes the 750's TDP is 55W and u would be fine but make sure u have a branded psu and if not you must change it in future.

Hi, tom19j,

I had a look at the spec sheet of the GTX 650, the Maximum Graphics Card Power is 64W and the System Power Requirement is 400W.
Therefore, I'd truly recommend that you at least get a good 450W PSU. Never take chances on your power supply unit. It's vital.

Any more queries, feel free to shoot :)
Cheers!

I think it would and as i said before it depends on your system's TDP and be sure that u buy at least a 450W in near future. Personally i think you should get a 450W psu if u want to be on the safe side but if u don't have enough money for now then get the gpu.( get the gtx750 if u can afford it, it's better and more power efficient than the 650). Can u give me the model no. of ur psu?

A GTX 750 (not TI) would be a better option. It takes much less power than the GTX 650 and performs a bit better. Usually they even cost similar amounts.

the GTX 750's performnace is on par with a 650Ti/ hd7790 which implies that is quite better than a gtx650.

I bet the 750(zotac one) would fit easily in that case.

Yeah both of them are of the same size, go with the gtx750 instead of the gtx650.

Hd7770 is alonger card than all of the three. But in terms of performance and power efficiency, gtx 750 would be the best.

That's wrong. The 750 is much more cooler than the other three. It depends you know..

That is entirely wrong. Nvidia cards produce less heat now.
AMD cards haven't been cooler for upwards of 4-5 years.

Give me a break...Hd7750 is cooler than the gtx650.
And yes, nvidia is ahead of the competition nowadays. Let's wait and see what AMD brings for the 750Ti.

Bottleneck in brief means that- You gpu is being held back in performance due to your cpu, In other words,ur gpu is unable to unleash it's full potential because your processor(cpu) doesn't have enough power in terms of performance to provide support to the gpu.
Also refer:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bottleneck
No i don't think that ur cpu will bottleneck the hd7770/gtx650/gtx 750 but it also depends on the games you are playing. But with HD7750, you would be fine.

Of course the HD 7750 is cooler... It's like 3 tiers lower in performance than a GTX 750 TI.
By the same measure, I could say a GT 610 is cooler than an R9 290.

The proper comparison to a GTX 750 TI in temperature is an R7 265. Not an HD 7750.

I said that the 7750 is cooler than the 650 whose performance is on par with a 7750. And i wasn't comparing a 7750 with a 750ti.
