Flashing another bios on R9 280X Dual-X

So i just got my r9 280x dual-x and i was wondering, since the voltage
control in msi afterburner is locked can i flash toxic/vapor/tri-x bios on my gpu
so that i can unlock the voltage control.

And yes i know about sapphire trixx but that sh*t forces the voltage i set
to 1.250 or 1.3 all the time, it doesn't go down to 0.850 when the card
is idling.

First check MSI Afterburner settings, there you will find option to Unlock Voltage Overvolting.

You have to check/select the option for Unlock Voltage Overvolting which can be found in Settings→General

Ok i should mention i know how to use afterburner because ive already done all of this..
now my only option is to flash the bios. but i dont know if ill brick the card

Ok then you can try flashing bios of Toxic edition but not sure that it will work certainly due to some limitations. But you first must try a little more on Trixx and see if you get the results.

Flashing a custom bios always has its risk though
