I have external internet connection through Modem.
This internet connection shared by 4 computers
1 windows 7 desktop 1 windows 7 laptop and 2 windows 8 laptop
In trendent I see in DHCP table the names and IPaddress of all computers
I can ping from one machine to other by IPAddress but If i ping by name I cant
I found that pathping Sridhar Lap
one of my win 7 laptop gives
SridharLap.Trendnet [92.242.XXX.XXX] with 32 bytes of data
Request Timed out 4 times
I observed that the same happens when I try to ping by name from one machine to another
In My computer properties the domain is Workgroup but why Trendnet comes and Why IP address is 92.242.XXX.XXX
Same IP address comes for all Computers
