If you can afford it go for 4x8Gb RAM cards to give you 32GB RAM, its a bit excessive for just gaming but if you do any video editing then it will be very useful.

the speed for the RAM would be 1333Mhz and I would go for corsair Vengeance RAM cards for the quality although again, the price is a little hefty!

That motherboard support up to 1333 MHz memory and use dual channel memory.
So get memories in pairs with speed 1333MHz. How many GB you should get depends on for what you want to use that PC for. I guess 4GB may be enough. In that case go with 2x2 GB 1333 MHz memory kit. This allow you to upgrade to 8GB by buying 2nd 2x2GB kit (same type) later if you need to.

If you need more memory go either directly 4x2GB or 2x 4GB.

To matter of brand get any of reputable Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, G.Skill, ... Which ever is cheapest. You won't see any difference.

EDIT:
Forgot maximum memory supported is 16GB. So ultimate maximum memory you could get is probably 4x4GB, not sure if that motherboard will support 8GB sticks so rather use 4x4.
So if you tell us what you want to use that PC for we can help you decide how many GB you should get.

EDIT2 :):
What OS you use. Because if you use 32-bit OS it have limit of 4GB ram usable. Bit lower in fact but that is about something else.

If it is Windows 7 Home 64-bit yes. It have limit of 16GB.
If it is 32-bit version it have limit 4GB as all 32-bit systems.
You can verify your version in properties of My Computer/Computer or how is it called in start menu.

But assuming you got 64-bit version we need to know what you want to use that PC for.
If its basic usage 4GB is enough, if you want to play games best bet will be 8GB. If you need to do some heavy computation applications or complicated graphic/video editting you can get 16GB, but in current normal usage 16GB is overkill and mostlikely you don't need it.

so 4GB go for 2x2 GB
8 GB go either 2x4GB or 4x2GB. (2x4GB have advantage of easy upgrade to 16GB by buying another 2x4GB).
16GB go for 4x4GB.

Your motherboard do not support 1600MHz and I would not try to overclock rams on it.
Best bet is to get 1333MHz (PC3-10600) memories which are supported. Also again please tell us what you want to use that PC for.
And about rams you wont really see any difference between different brands if it's one of those reputable brands it will perform +- same so go for cheapest 1333MHz from one of those brands I listed. Those 4 brands are listed are not only brands which make good rams but probably most common you will see.

8GB should be plenty for that.
You can ofc get 16GB if you want, but I dont think you will use that.
So my best bet would be 2x4GB kit of 1333MHz rams from one of those brands. You can also try to seek lower CL timing but if you get any of 7/8/9 it will be enough.
