Hello community!

I currently am having trouble deciding which parts to pick for my first buy and was hoping you guys could shed some light on my situation.
As of now my budget is $1200 and I have two builds.
An Intel build and an AMD build.
The Intel Build has a better processor but a smaller SSD and a less reliable HDD, while the AMD build has an inferior processor but an SSD with a larger capacity and a more reliable HDD. I'll post the builds below.

Intel Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3OMr5

AMD Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3OeTR

They're both just under my budget ($1200) but I'm just not sure what the best decision would be from a gaming perspective.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks so much!

I would go for the AMD build, this isn't because im a fanboy! (I have used both makes multiple times) and the AMD CPU isn't necesarilly inferior, it does not have hyper threading like the intel but it does have twice the cores and therefore can run more processes at once, making it better at multi-tasking.
For gaming the AMD would be better due to the higher clock speed and more cores. The AMD also has a bigger cache allowing for faster access to previous files therefore speeding up the processes.

let me know what you think personally, because, at the end of the day the forum can only give you advice not make the decision, both are strong builds and both have their advantages and disadvantages!

Inferior may not have been the correct word, haha. Well I looked it up myself and came to the conclusion that the I5 would perform better then the FX in gaming, but I have been wrong before. If the FX isn't going to perform significantly worse than the I5 then I'll almost definitely go with the FX. It's cheaper and would give me the option of a better HDD and SSD :) I'll let you know, though.
Thanks for the reply!
