Hi Guys,
Recently my network adapter keeps needing to be diagnosed and restarted. I also have bad internet connection (slow speeds). I play a lot of Counter Strike: Global Offensive and the bad connection results with a high Var of about 10-15 with occasional spikes of 30. I also begin to get an increase of ping.

When I am in the same room the connection is perfect and the game has a Var of 0.5 - 2, I usually play in my room which is 3 walls away from the router. A few months ago I had a slower download speed, when compared to sitting next to router, but the connection was perfect.

Hope someone has a solution to this problem.

What I've tried:
Turned off Power saving on adapter.
Re-installed driver (not sure If I have the correct one though, tried multiple.)

it's interference..

refrigerator, metal mesh screens, clothe iron, microwave, metal bars inside the walls of your house etc..

re-position the router closer to you.

how else can you explain that the WiFi connection is good when you're near to the router?

option b: buy a stronger router.
