Trust me, if you are building a gaming rig, with all the case fans, gpu fan, and cpu fan running, you probably will not hear the HDD spinning up. I have your standard 1TB Seagates 7200 RPM drives in mine, never hear them. Fans are you most ear sensitive components.

I will have a ssd with my windows install and games, but they are so expensive and i want more storage for movies and such. I was thinking about going with the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM. Would anyone recommend this hard drive? If it really is as cball1311 says, then im gonna get Seagate Barracuda 2TB.

Don't waste the extra money. Minimal performance gain and reliablitity factor, and even louder at 10000RPM. I have had the same Seagate HDD as mentioned above in my rig for going on 6 years now, still peachy.
