Here is the hardware so far (psu might change due to problem with it):

-asus z87-pro mobo
-evga geforce gtx 760 2Gb overclocked gpu
-intel i5 4670K 3.4 Mhz cpu.
- current stock fans with corsair c70 case.
-4 cooler master 120mm sleeve bearing 39.7 cfm 1200rpm silent fans with blue led.
-seagate 1Tb hhd
-crucial 250 Gb ssd.
-hyper 212 evo cpu cooler
-corsair RM 750 watt full modular goldgoldrated psu

From what I have read up on the case and all my components, I need good cooling. The coolermaster fans I bought look to have too little cfm for my needs. I have been looking at cougar, noctua, antec and other fans. I could use some suggestions as far as better/ additional fans to get and optimum configuration in my case with the case fans. Current case fans are set with the 2 120mm pulling from hdrive cages, cpu cooler pulling from front to back, gpu fan pulling from bottom, and stock 140mm pulling out the back. Gpu is in first pci slot right between the two 120mm fan positions.

If I were in your position then I would go with the Corsair AF120's and in stall them onto the hard drive cages, Also you get those interchangeable red white and blue ring colors. BUT if you want to go with performance and quiet then you should defiantly go with Noctua fans, although they do not match many builds, I believe that with the green C70 they will fit in just right.

What about cougar fan uptions? Noctua won't work thematically with my blue black and white scheme. Any other considerations?

I don't really know much about cougar fans, because I tend to lean forward higher reputable companies like Cooler Master, Fractal Design, Corsair, and Noctua for fans. But why not get the AF140's? They would really go well with the blue black and white because you could always change the ring color to either blue or white.

I have heard those AF 140s have had some pretty negative reviews on new egg and other websites. Any blue led fan suggestions?

Oh I suggest you should wait a bit because I say a video on YouTube that LinusTechTips posted and Noctua is coming out with new fans that instead of being the peach and brown color then will be brown around the borders and black on fans. In addition, if you stay updated with the Computex convention that is going on right now then you can see that Corsair is releasing new LED fans that seem to be really nice. But if you dont want to wait then I would suggest going with bitfenix blue led fans, they are quite good for the price.

EDIT: also I just checked and Cooler Master and Cougar seem to have good reviews on the blue led fans.
