I have two pci plugs running from the gpu plugs to two different pci slots in my power supply. Is this the right hookup method for this graphics card since it requires a supplemental power supply. The only reason I ask is because the modular cables that came with my corsair RM750 psu have pci splitters/breakaways, so it looks like I could plug the same cord into the gpu twice or two different gpus on the same power cord. Thanks!

Solution
You could use one cable with both of the PCI-E connectors or two different cables, either way it doesn't matter. I for example have 2 GPU's, one power cable (with two PCI-E connectors) is powering GPU 1, and another cable set up the same way is powering GPU 2
