Ok so just for fun let's say I wanted to run an ultimate 6 screen 4K setup for gaming where all of the screens merge to one full image. What kind of computer and components are we talking about here? Which GPUs would you get, what MoBo, i7 or Xenon, etc. What items will make this the ultimate dream build?

First of all for gaming this would never work. Cards today can't really play games at 4k, let alone 6 4k monitors.

For just desktop use? Well, I know in the review for the AMD FirePro W9100, they mention in can power 6 4K monitors, but as soon as you connect more than 3, you are limited to 30hz on all of them, which isn't really useable, even at the desktop. That's a workstation card, and I'm assuming the same limitation is present with gaming cards.

you're saying 6 4k resolution monitors?

or 6 moniors and a $4000 budget?

i don't even know if 4 titan blacks would handle 6 4k monitors as one large screen. not only in horsepower for playable FPS, but also 6gb VRAM doesnt even sound like enough

one 4k monitor (no real reason to go larger, and tbh I think a 27" 1440p right in front your face is enough) and a R9 295x2. i7 4770k, the other stuff already cost to much. For a single 1440p a R9 290x should do the job for majority of today's games, throw in another down the road.

OK, here goes. (Warning: This build will cost as much as a car. LOL)

I tried to waste as much money as possible on over-expensive parts.
But pcpartpicker doesn't let me 4-way SLI :(

It's because the Titan Z is a dual-GPU card.
