Hey guys!

Today morning I got into a problem in my PC, my MoBo got stuck at the BIOS screen, I removed the HDD's wire and the MoBo booted without any problems. So I inserted Windows 7's disk and when the setup was loading I connected the HDD wire and it loaded up. But after that when I tried to install Windows, it showed,
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."
I've got no idea where I can find this "disk controller" :/

My Specs
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 @ 2.00Ghz
1GB RAM
GT 210
Asus P5G-MX MoBo
Hitachi 160GB HDD

Any help would be appreciated! :)

Actually it does. I had been using Windows 7 Ultimate on this board since 2010! My PC got slow, very slow actually. So I formatted it and then the next day when I try to install it again, I ran into a hell lot of problems and it's not installing! :(

I got this PC in 2008. Anyway, if I download and try to install Zorion OS 8 Linux, will that work?

Hey buddy!

I figured out the problem, I went to the BIOS menu, selected my HDD and then changed "LBA/Large Mode" from Auto to Disable, and then I deleted "System Reserved" partition in the Windows 7 setup, and after that I restarted my PC and hurrah! It allowed me to install the OS! :D
