First of all, can someone tell me if this card will fit inside the Zalman Z9 Plus.

Second of all, I've recently relised that The SATA Ports on my Mobo are directly under My PCI 2.0 Slot so there will be no room for them whenever I install this massive card, is there a way to get around this ?

Third, Has anyone used an XFX Branded card before, if so can you tell if it was good or not. I don't have much faith in this company yet ?

Thank-you

Where the WF3 (or other 3-fan) cards won't fit, the XFX (or other dual-fan) card probably will. As to the SATA ports, you might use right-angle connectors in some of them, but that may still leave one in each pair blocked.
Beginning with a XFX HD5770 quite a few years ago, and including a HD7750, HD7770, and HD7870, I had excellent results with XFX. These cards were all quiet, had some overclocking headroom, and did not run hot.
I was sorely disappointed by a XFX HD7970 though. Not too loud in games, it howled while mining, and got quite hot. XFX Tech support was slow to respond to my query about re-applying thermal paste voiding the warranty, so I returned it for a Gigabyte HD7970 with the WF3 cooler. That card is much quieter, much cooler, and also has some OC headroom (but is voltage-locked, if that matters to you), even when running flat-out mining.
The R9 280X is basically a HD7970. Accordingly, I'd be leery of a card from XFX, although it is worth pointing out that their dual-fan cards are notably smaller than something like the WF3 models, and if you're gaming, it wouldn't be under as much stress.

Thanks for replying, Unfortunately the WF3 Models are off the table for me because they are extremely long and I've heard that my case can't fit it. Its not too bad though, I wont really care about the noise level when I have my headphones on and I don't plan on overclocking. I don't suppose you know the answer to my other two questions?
