Gtx 660 SLI or Gtx 770?

I currently have a Gtx 660. Question is should I SLI the Gtx 660 and buy a better PSU? Or should I buy a Gtx 770? I know SLI will give me better performace but will I run into a lot of problems with SLI?
My Rig:
MSI GTX 660 OC
MSI z87 g45 mobo
ripjaws 8gb ram
corsair cx500m psu
i5 4570 cpu w/ stock fan

All help greatly appreciated

The stock fan will not work with any SLI.

Go with the GTX 770 and a CM Hyper 212 EVO heatsink.

If you SLI the 660, you will definitely need a new PSU. Don't use anything under 600 watts. It would be better if you used at least 650 or 700 watts.

Read this.

If you go with the 660 SLI setup, it will use more power and generate more heat than a 770. However, the 660 SLI setup is better than the 770 setup.

The stock fan will not work with any SLI.

Id get a 770 with 4GB vram. Games will start requiring it soon to run on the highest settings. Then sli down the road.

You will get much more performance with a 660 ti sli. 660 ti sli is better than a titan.

You would still get only 2GB. Each card still has to store the entire scene and textures.

I recommend XFX, SeaSonic, and Corsair (not the CX series, though) for PSU's.

As for the heatsink, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, or, if you can afford it, one of Noctua's great heatsinks.

Well, SLI 770 is better than SLI 660. It really depends on how much you want to spend. It will be cheaper to just get a second 660 and be done.

You will need at least an 850-watt PSU for SLI 770.
