Does this card work with my motherboard?

Yes it should work without issue, but that is a really low end motherboard, and a really old graphics card. You would be better off to buy a more modern graphics card. It would also help to buy a better motherboard, as even $50 motherboards can have superior features and performance.

However, if you already have purchased these items then it should work fine together.

See at the bottom of that page where it says benchmarks are "theoretical". That website is not a good choice for comparing hardware.

The Nvidia Geforce GTX 295 has a total of 480 CUDA cores. While it does have a large memory bandwidth, it only comes up to be at best equal to the 7850

See that link by TomsHardware. It doesn't go into detail but its a much better comparison than the other website. It places them as equal to each other in performance, but the AMD Radeon 7850 consumes less than half the power used by the GTX 295. That means it will also run a lot cooler in temperature and make less noise. Not to mention it has higher DirectX and Mantle capabilities. I would say in a head to head competition that the 7850 would beat the GTX 295 in performance also.

Legenda in Aeternum
Have a friend that is running a 295 with a RaidMax Hybrid 730 they run about $70 at NewEgg he's had no problems, for about 3 years now, and that's also with a highly OCed 9650 on a base PCI-E slot....and while the 295 was a great card in it's day, a 7850 is a better card today

Yea I see it must of been an amazing card. Its just going like all technology does. It is around 5 years old and still capable of fighting around the performance of the AMD Radeon 7850 or Nvidia GTX 660. That is impressive, but just for power and heat reasons its not a good investment anymore.
