So, I'll finally be buying a new CPU in about a week, and I was wondering if replacing the stock cooler with a better one would extend the CPU's lifespan at all by keeping it cooler. Any noticeable difference, or not?
Typically, cooler temperatures do increase lifespan. Stock coolers have come a long way though and if you're not looking to overclock or don't live in a house that is sweltering hot in summer then you probably won't really benefit much in terms of longevity. I like to get aftermarket coolers just because they're quieter. I don't think I've ever really pushed the envelope on my CPU to the point where I would have needed the aftermarket cooler though.
Depends on your ambient temperature. If it's under 25C the stock cooler should keep it cool enough. If it's more than that an aftermarket cooler would be a good idea since higher temps are generally bad for the longevity of your components.

At the moment it's 35c...
In that case I would personally get an aftermarket cooler. It may or may not extend the lifetime, but the noise is going to be a lot more bearable.
