Currently i have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti and a AMD FX 6100 along with 8 GB of ram. For the past week i've been looking around cause i've noticed my pc not being able to handle the latest games like BF4 or watch dogs.

Iive been looking at an AMD FX-8350 and Radeon HD 7950 3GB but I'm not sure if there worth it or if there is something better that's with in the price range of those. Maybe a GTX 760. Not sure, but i want to stick with amd for now as i don't really feel like changing my motherboard as of now so intel CPU's are out of the question. Thank you in advanced for any help much appreciated.

Ok i wonder if the 760 is worth the 20-30 difference to the 7950. like performance wise and or support wise like Nvidia has a nice program to easily update your drivers right when a update is available. My monitor is has a resolution of 1366 x 768 so will the 2GB or 3GB make a difference?

Yes, you are talking about GeForce Experience which take care of driver upgrades and also will load ideal game settings for your card. It also has ShadowPlay which is like Fraps but w/o all the overhead. nLet's look at a couple of things .....

The 760 is about 8% faster than the 7950 at 1920 x 1080

The 7950 is about 4% cheaper than the 760 on newewgg

On a "per month" basis, the 760 has sold about 7 times as many as the 7950

Scroll down to the DX11 cards section and we see that the 760 (Released June 25th, 2013) out 11 months has 2.58% market penetration .... the 7950 is around 38th (Released January 1, 2012) out 28 months and has 0.94% , market penetration. 2.58/0.94 x 28/11 = 7

Id take the 760
