I have the same problem, fan is running and plugged into cpu fan socket. F1 error still, are there any tricks or something I can make from things around the house to make it think there is the correct fan on the system??
I have the 5 pin connection Dell Proprietary Part.
UPDATE
I have already flashed BIOS to A10:Jan.6.2011. And there is no setting in BIOS to disable message. Any tricks??
