Hey everyone, well to start this thread off I didn't know which category to put this in. As it involves a cpu cooler plug, and the motherboard. Anyhow I have been using a stock AMD cooler for my FX 8320 up until today. I got a new aftermarket cooler for it, however I've run into a problem which is after removing the stock cooler I could not get the motherboard to release the plug which powers the cpu cooler. So after quite a bit of attempts and pinching the tab and pushing it down, nothing works and it refuses to release. Basically now I'm unable to use my pc until I figure out whats wrong as I want to check out my options before having to use the stock cooler again. Any ideas?

problems will that vertical clip?

sometimes a small flat head to pull it back and then grab firmly to "wiggle" it up with the other hand/fingers helps.
