Hello everyone. I just updgraded to a new mobo and have already put more money than I wanted into this build. The LED light on the motherboard labeled DRAM_LED has lit up after I first put it together. The ram I originally had did not work so I checked the QVL and the ram (above) appears in the owners manual. Still...the light stays on. I tried using one at a time in all the slots individually and none seem to be picking up. I also cleared the CMOS by jumping and removing the battey. i checked all the pins on the mobo all seem in order. Also thought it might be power issues so I unplugged the disk drive and another HDD that was connected. Still....THE LIGHT STAYS ON!!!! Please help!

I tried using the mem ok button several times. It cycles through several times and nothing ever happens. I am unfamiliar with quad channel memory. Does everything I am running satisfy that?

Yes, I double checked all of that. It still was not working. Several of my friends have had trouble with ASUS before, so I am just going to send it in. That $30 extra for insurance was well worth it. Thanks for all the help.
