I upgraded my CPU and mobo. The CPU has integrated graphics but I want to use my independent video card. When I try install the drivers for the card there's an error. I can't get it to use just the card and not the integrated graphics. I heard that I need to somehow delete the integrated graphics or disable them. Will this work? Any help on how to solve the issue?

Most intel systems have integrated graphics so ofc adding a dedicated card will work. What you need to do is as follows:
1.Uninstall integrated GPU drivers
2.Disable integrated video in BIOS
3.Mount dedicated GPU
4.(optional) Delete any remains of the integrated gpu drivers using programs like Driver Sweeper, Driver Cleaner etc (or manually if you know what you're doing)
5.Install Dedicated GPU drivers like AMD and Nvidia
