Good list, but I personally would rather skip the SSD entirely (or maybe add it later), and get a bigger GPU, like a 770 or a 780. SSDs make your system boot up and shut down much more quickly, and the games may load faster, but once a game is running, it is all about the CPU/GPU/RAM. As a gamer, you simply cannot compromise on your GPU - a 760 is a decent performer, but even at 1080p, you can't run most of the new titles at max settings, at a smooth framerate.

This build looks fine, should give you pretty good/great performance in most games on higher graphics settings.
As for the actual building, make sure you ground yourself on a metal part of your case often, especially before handling the motherboard. Invest in an anti-static band if you like, but you should be okay without one. Do not build on carpet or fabrics of any kind. I'm fairly sure Intel chips come with pre-applied thermal paste, but if for some reason your chip doesn't make sure to evenly apply the paste.

You should be fine as long as you follow those tips and don't do something stupid like licking your CPU.

Thanks for the quick response guys.

I thought about buying the geforce 770 but the 760 I'm getting right now is on sale so it'll be about 100 cheaper than most 770, and I heard the new geforce 800 series is expected maybe later this year so I think I'll just stick with the 760 for now and see how the 800 series turn out.

Also, I'm gonna get an anti-static band for sure, they're only like 10 bucks, and I'll be working on wooden floor.

Anymore tips? thanks!
