Hey guys,

So I'm looking for a power supply for my build. Originally, I had a great deal on the AX650, but it sold out and is discontinued. Then I was interested in the RM650, but negative reviews online scared me away. Now I'm looking at the two models I listed in the subject line. I love that both are fully modular and have 10 year warranties.

Price wise there is about a 40$ difference between the two (CAD). Also, I estimate that there is a 5% chance that I ever SLI my video card so I don't know how useful the extra 100 watts is. The G2 is a tier 1 card due to its higher quality capacitors, but is it really worth the extra $?

PC is used as a workstation and for light gaming. I'm looking for a quiet and reliable PSU. It's an important component so I don't mind spending more cash if necessary. Recommend me a different model if you like!

Here's my build:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($384.50 @ shopRBC)
or 4790k depending on $

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (Purchased For $32.00)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-PRO(Wi-Fi ac) ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($251.98 @ Memory Express)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($62.96 @ DirectCanada)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Superclocked ACX Video Card ($309.22 @ Newegg Canada)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($125.98 @ Memory Express)
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($136.97 @ Newegg Canada)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro (OEM) (64-bit) (Purchased For $0.00)
Other: Generic Toshiba/Samsung DVD Burner (Purchased For $0.00)
Total: $1473.61

Thanks for the help guys.
