Hi,
i have 2 PC's an intel core i5 32bit 4 gig ram GTX 460 graphics card .

and an Intel Core i7 64 bit 8 gig ram ATI Radeon HD 5400

ok cool i was hoping so, silly me pre ordered Wolfenstien the new order on my i5 and derp it needs to be on 64 bit os ( other computer with a worse graphic card) Dont have much cash atm for pc upgrades so, if i swap these cards around considering i use the i5 with the GTX 460, I should still notice a decent upgrade with the GTX in the i7 Yes? I am aware the better of the 2 cards is the gtx 460 by a fair bit. but still not the best in the world. i also looked at what the two cards look like and there really different. i am aware it will leave my I5 core with the ATI 5400 but my wife will be only one playing it and she only plays World Of Warcraft.

Hello... yes the gtx460 will be a best video card for your gaming Computer... I recommend you do it with the wife is away B )

Also check what setting for the screen she is using so you can set it back for her.

Download/install the proper 32/64 bit Driver for each one as needed, from their website.

before you do anything to each computer, go download the latest display driver uninstaller....
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/downloads.html

then download the latest amd drivers on the i5 computer that the hd5400 will end up in, and download the latest nvidia drivers on the i7 computer that the gtx460 will end up in.

then disconnect each computer from the internet so they dont auto update.... and run DDU and let it do the clean safe mode uninstall of the old drivers.

then UNPLUG the computers from the wall and swap the video cards. be easy and dont force the video cards in or out, but do make sure they are both seated properly in the pcie lane. also dont forget to plug the power pins from the power supply back into the video cards.

then restart each system and install the video drivers that you downloaded from amd and nvidia.
