Prebuilt Quality Computer?

I posted in motherboards, but didn't get the answer I need.

Looking at HP & Dell, they leave much to be desired. Dell boards are not high quality. Though HP Envy has Pegatron boards, I believe these are probably the lowest of Asus quality, or lower, as Pegatron had an association with Asus. Yet, these HP's have tiny power supplies, unless you pay for their "high end" models, which still don't even have an HDMI output, but the worthless DVI that does not transmit sound to a speaker-containing monitor, which is what I want.

An $1100 Asus was recommended, but I've seen their computers and the cases and plastic fronts and bays are cheap, (& with a 300w. power supply! How cheap.), and their customer service is said to be horrendous, plus the warranty is only a year, and you supposedly wait forever to get the machine fixed and returned.

I'm not a computer whiz, never built a computer, and don't want the hassles of having to determine what has gone wrong when there is a problem, and having to deal with the warranties of the different companies of the components inside.

Any pre-builts that have higher quality boards and sturdy metal cases?

Thanks.

are you looking to game on these computers? In my opinion If its between Dell and HP dell usually has the better quality PC's. I mean i have clients with 10 year old Dells that still run just fine and they have been on 10 years straight! HP's seem to have more hardware issues than Dell.

But yea the big thing is what do you plan on using them for? Gaming? Or just basic usuage?
