This is going to be my first pc build and I mainly want it to be a gaming/work build. For the gaming I wanted it to play most games at 1080p and hopefully more than 30 frames (because I am coming from a console and know nothing more then 30) I also don't have to play everything at ultra setting I am very fine with high settings. For the work part of this build I needed to be able to hand my school work (VMWare) and my girlfriends school work (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dream Weaver). Also since I will be starring at this thing all day long I did want it look appealing to me. The budget for the build is $1500 and here is the link for it http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3P8Gi . One question of mine is when I decide to overclock this is if the h100i will be worth it or if I should just go with the cm 212 evo ( I will either overclock to 4.2 or 4.5 if temps are stable). If you have any questions, comments, or have a different build in mind don't be shy to let me know.

Solution
it is a revision of your build, with better price/performance parts selection
new Z97 mobo
better ram for OC
h100i isnt worth it, stick with popular air cooler
better PSU. corsair cx isnt good in quality http://community.newegg.com/eggxpert/computer_hardware/f/135081/t/45344.aspx
cheaper monitor, 2ms"
better keyboard
pcie based wireless

Solution
^ i agree with amd radeons's opinion on the build.

the only thing you may think about doing is going with a similar power supply that is semi modular since space in the micro atx case is a little lacking. plus having a little bit higher rated wattage gives you more headroom if down the road you upgrade to something like an r9-290 or gtx780 which would be cutting too close for comfort to the xfx 550w's 45amp 12v limit when counting in the 4670k overclocked.
