Hi,

I'm trying to downgrade from the Win8 to Win7. I have Win7 on a bootable USB, however, I can't find a way to boot from the USB stick. I've read and watched many tutorials, but I'm not seeing the same options in my BIOS that are being presented in those guides.

My laptop: Acer Aspire V5-552G-XB52

Pressing ESC, or F-buttons don't work during the boot, so the only way I found to enter BIOS was by going to PC Settings > Advanced > Restart, and go through UEFI. The system then restarts and I'm able to enter "InsydeH20 Setup Utility". I've disabled Secure Boot, and here is the whole list of things I'm seeing in Boot priority order:

1. Win Boot Man
2. 1TB HDD
3. ATAPI CDROM
4. USB HDD
5. USB FDD
6. Network Boot-IPV4
7. USB CDROM
8. Network Boot-IPV6

I've tried placing all USB options at #1, but nothing boots. It still goes into Win8 after restart.

Please help! How do I get rid of these?!

so there isn't a "F-12 boot menu" option in your bios? if so, enable that, and hold F-12 at boot to select boot device manually...
I just lost my acer to bad HDD and remember utilizing that to try and boot linux distro from usb... didn't work, but got to the manual boot screen...
