I have windows 8.1 on AMD A8-5545M (integrated with AMD Radeon HD 8510G)
Recently, there was an update on windows which made my gaming experience horrible because it seems that my video card driver wasn't properly installed. My video card is shown on the device manager, however, the performance of my laptop now is like I don't have a video card.
When playing HoN (Heroes of Newerth), FPS suddenly drops. Upon checking the task manager, I would see 100% disk usage and the System seems to be the culprit.
How can this be fixed? It might also damage my computer in the future if this isn't fixed right? I've searched some solutions, like disabling something (I forgot what). It worked for a while. I also tried reinstalling my video card driver, it worked, but after restarting my computer, the problem was back. Please help me.
Cheers!
