Hi guys,

Kind off facing a weird problem here, i recently bought battlefield 4 and was getting approx 60-70 fps on everything low and turned off. Now the reason everything is low is because i am using Windows 7 32bit, in which Bf4 doesnt allow setting to be changed. I Tried using raptr to make settings high/ultra but i was getting MASSIVE fps drops in b.w fire fights so i removed it.

I dont get it, i was hoping my pc is decent enough for bf4 but now i dont really want to spend on changing anything.

Also in bf 3 runs ultra in 60-90fps but no drops ty god.

PC Config -
Mobo - Gigabyte 970a Ds3p
Proc - Amd 8320
Gfx - Sapphire r9 280x OC
Psu - Ocz mk2 750 Silencer ( Silver Certified )
Ram- Kingston 4gb 1600mhz

Please help me out guys, i am really lost here on what to do.

Thanks you

*Your problem is 32-bit Windows. You need 64-bit Windows.

The R9-280X is a 3GB card I believe. That means it uses 75% of what Windows 32-bit can access (4GB). That only leaves 1GB for both Windows AND the game. It doesn't matter how much System RAM you have installed it can't use it.

It would probably be closer to 800MB left over so again I'm baffled how you ran BF3.

*You really need to install Windows 8 64-bit OEM ($95) and probably Start8 as well to avoid the new interface ($5).

Hey tys for the reply, bf 3 runs briallantly actually withn no drops and good 60 on the most minimum on ultra, but even i was thinking may be upping to win 7 64 bit might help, but what u suggested win 8 64 bit would be better ?

if you have a win7 real key just download win 7 64 bit and use same key and install it the key works for both 32/64 bit
